How we started
We have always LOVED going on holiday. Being two very busy doctors in high stress jobs, our holidays were are the light at the end of tunnel! We were naturally the ones people came to to book group trips, ask for recommendations and finding the best deals. In 2020, Liz found an opportunity online to make her very own travel agency, allowing us to create Escape Tots and provide a professional service for our clients and turn our passion into a business!
What is the online opportunity?
Did you know, every booking you make either direct to a hotel or through a booking site or agent has commission built in?
Knowing this, we partnered with an online Homebased Travel Agency and are now ABTA, ATOL and IATA licensed Independent Travel Agents.
This is a fabulous opportunity for everyone, not only can you earn the commissions back on your own travel, you can also earn them by booking holidays for friends and family travel too!

Why did we become Independent Travel Agents?
We used to book direct with hotels or on Booking.com all the time not knowing that commission was built into every holiday we booked. Now we book those same holidays but we get to KEEP that commission. We also get access to the most incredible FAM rates for being an independent travel agents.
Who is the Partner Company?
Our Travel Host company Inteletravel https://www2.inteletravel.uk is 27 years old and is a proud member of ABTA. Our suppliers are ATOL protected. We are partnered with over 70 professional suppliers such as Hoseasons, Tui, James Villas, US Airtours & Olympic Holidays just to name a few.
Do you need experience as a travel agent?
No, just a love for travel like us. We have extensive FREE training with all our suppliers as well as in house company training. The training is all online, it’s accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and done on your terms around your current work and family commitments. It’s completely flexible.
Are you restricted to just booking with the partnered companies?
No. When you join Escape Tots you get an IATA Licence which is a legal requirement to book and sell holidays in the U.K. You can contact ANY hotel worldwide and request an agent commissionable rate and discount.
What does it cost to join the Escape Tots team?
To purchase your IATA license there is a one off fee of £142. This number gives you global recognition as an Independent Travel Agent. You then pay £32 a month which covers your admin, support, insurance and back office systems. All training is totally free!
How soon can I start booking holidays for clients?
There are 9 mandatory UK regulatory videos including GDPR and ATOL certification, then you will be licenced to book holidays.
From there we offer optional training online such as supplier training, approaching hotels etc. These are all extremely flexible and can fit around your current job, children or dog walks!
I have a full time job, do I have time for this?
One of the brilliant things about this opportunity is we have no targets or quotas so you can absolutely do this around a full time job. We both work full time as NHS doctors, working long days and Liz is is renovating a house. If we can do it anyone can. There are no minimums to earn (and equally no maximums that you can potentially earn).
Is this a network marketing business?
No. This is a franchise that is provided for you by our partner company. It is a license to buy and sell travel, that license can be used purely for your own holidays or booking for friends and family.
There is an optional travel affiliate opportunity which allows you to share the programme with others and benefit from other streams of income but that is a completely separate business.
